The Halifax Bowling Association
Halifax Federation Team (herby known as the “team”)
Rules from 2024 Season.
- Only players who play in the leagues run by the Halifax Bowling Association league (Herby known as the (“league”) will be eligible to be selected to play in the Federation matches.
- Exceptions, established players who have played in the federation prior to 2024.
- They must have played at least 8 matches 1/3 in the previous season in any of the leagues below.

- Tuesday Eve
- Wednesday Eve
- Thursday Vet’s
- Over 55 ladies
- Exceptions, a player with exceptional circumstances who could not compete in the leagues the previous season.
- All players are eligible (male & female)
- All players will be required to read the League rules and the Federation By-Laws

- A team selection committee must be formed with the following positions.
- Chairman (team manager), home & away Team-captain & vice-captain & a member of the Association committee.
- The team selection committee will meet prior to any match for team selection.
- The team will organise home venues and provide catering if required by the home or away team, which will be funded by the team.
- The League will fund the team providing finances allow.
- The team will be allowed to be self-funding by attaining sponsorship, running raffles, domino cards, match levies and donations.
- The manager will be responsible for all monies, and provide receipts to the league treasurer, with a complete list of all income & expenditure, which will be accounted for in the league accounts.
- Any team winnings will be accounted for in the league accounts.
- Any surplus monies will help fund the team with team shirts and or catering.
- The league and team managers will adjudicate on any matters not covered.
